Palama Market: Kalbi Plate Lunch

July 11, 2007

Lunch today is from the food court inside Palama Super Market

…Kalbi plate with bean sprouts, choy sum, long rice, and an extra order of choy sum in place of the usual mac salad. The kalbi drippings make an incredible gravy for the two steamy scoops of rice :)

I’m not the only local food blogger with good things to say about the Palama Market! :)

The well-known popular narrative is that fresh pu’erh prices have gone up and this certainly seems true in the data. Last year the prices looked about the same as the previous year. And when and how much the price has gone up depends on how we look at this and there’s a handful of different ways to look at the data and options available (I do three here).
