Sunday mornings are my favorite time of the week. (Sunday afternoons and evening are another matter – when the homework panic attack sets in). Today I walked over to Pomona to meet Francesca for brunch at Walters. It finally started to rain this morning, and I took great pleasure in donning boots, long pants and a black umbrella to match. Almost reminds me of the east coast. We left at 9am, in order to make for the morning breakfast specials they offer.
The restaurant nearly full and quite lively just over an hour after they opened. It was filled with mostly older couples, families with young kinds, and students of the Claremont Colleges with their parents. I’ve often come to Walters for accounting recruiting events, but it was always a set menu, and there is only so much lamb one can consume in a sitting.
We were given some complimentary French bread to begin. I don’t really understand what makes this French bread, “French”, is it supposed to resemble a baguette? If we judged it along the standards of a baguette, they failed miserably, but if just accepted as “bread”, then I liked it very much. A nice crusty top, just the right shade of deep golden brown. The inside bore soft innards, that willingly played along with my smears of butter and sprinkle of sugar, in an attempt to recreate my all time favorite breakfast of thick toast with butter and sugar.
We each had a hard time deciding between two menu items, but lucky for us they were the same items, so we got both and split. This was the first time I’ve had Huevos Rancheros ($7.95), two eggs sunny side up on pair of folded corn tortillas. The eggs were topped with a fresh chunky sweet tomato salsa and an avocado half. Save for the under ripe avocado, I first took bites of everything on it’s own, then kind of layered everything and ate it all together. We all have our habits. It’s simple, something we could make for ourselves. Yet when we go to a restaurant and are surrounded with people, with life, and sounds of laughter and excitement, and our entrees are presented on a clean white plates, radiating an array of colors from the green avocados, red salsa and golden yellow egg yolks, most things seems to taste better.
Our second order was a duo of Corncakes and Black beans with two poached eggs and side of homemade salsa ($7.95). The salsa was surprisingly spicy and generously mixed with fresh cilantro, though it much more “liquidy” in comparison with the one which accompanied the Huevos Rancheros. A blanket of tender black beans seemingly melted into the squares of corncake, which themselves bordered between sweet and savory, but mostly just decadent when I popped the poach egg, letting the yolks drip in.
I could not have asked more a more enjoyable and simple Sunday morning, and it made me wonder why I don’t come out to the Claremont Village for brunch more often. We stopped by the Sunday’s farmer’s market on the way back and I bought a bottle of avocado honey.
Avocado, you say? Yes, oh so mellow and buttery. I thought to put some in my tea, but you know what? It’s better by the spoonful, straight from the bottle to my lips.

Q& A good with Greg Ryslik, Chief of Data Research & Stats at Faraday Future
“One of the most exhilarating things about being a data academic right now is that you get to find this progression. You get to observe a field started out its pretty early stages, during 911termpapers.com to the big powerhouses within the tech earth, ” reported Greg Ryslik, instructor and designer in the upcoming Metis evening course, Statistical Fundamentals for Details Science and even Machine Figuring out.
We sitting down utilizing Greg to determine his personal outing into details science and to find out her reasons for creating this particular training.
Greg completed the undergraduate stage at Rutgers University, subsequently went on for getting his Masters in Figures from Columbia, followed by a Ph. Deb. in biostatistics at Yale. He’s the Head of information Science as well as Analytics from Faraday Potential.
He established this course based on a rich understanding of how vast info science is normally and will continue to become. Nevertheless no matter the size, at the root at the end will be the same thing a solid familiarity with statistics and mathematics.
“Data technology is a very large field. There are lots of automation attainable in system learning, AJAI, that are associated algorithms, however the fact of the matter almost all these rules rely on sophisticated mathematics plus statistics, lunch break he believed.
“While you might be capable to build and also deploy an elementary machine novice and use it like a black field piece of software, to actually understand what is actually doing and be able to optimize it with the task accessibl

Tea infused beauty products are my weakness. I don’t even use a lot of beauty products, but whenever I find something that features tea as its main ingredient I have to try it! The thought is that if drinking tea can be beneficial for your skin, then applying it to your skin would increase any benefits. Tea infused beauty products can be a hit or a miss for me though as some products only use a tiny amount of tea for marketing purposes. That’s not the case with TEAOLOGY. I was intrigued when I first saw that this brand was making its way to Canada because their skincare line is 0% water and 100% Tea Infusion!
